Position Summary: Join Eventus WholeHealth, a leader in delivering integrated care to adults in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. We are excited to invite a dedicated Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist to our compassionate team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing recovery-oriented support and case management services to our residents and their families, with potential opportunities to transition into counseling services. Your contributions will greatly enhance the quality of life for individuals facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to more complex mental illnesses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver Therapeutic Behavioral Services in collaboration with licensed clinicians to ensure clients' needs are effectively met. Engage in service planning to create tailored care coordination and treatment plans for individuals. Provide essential interventions, restoration of daily life skills, and crisis prevention for clients. Facilitate both individual and group sessions to support diverse client needs. Train support staff on client-specific triggers and effective de-escalation techniques. Foster positive relationships with all external contacts and facility staff members. Communicate effectively with Resident Care Coordinators and facility staff to address current care needs and concerns. Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth's standards, policies, and ethical guidelines while ensuring compliance with all health care regulations. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions, adhering to HIPAA standards. Consult with clinical supervisors for guidance when addressing unfamiliar requests from residents, families, or facilities. Qualifications/Education: We are looking for licensed professionals in counseling or marriage and family therapy, holding a Master's degree, who are eligible to practice in their respective states. Knowledge: Understanding of interventions specific to diverse populations and the ability to follow treatment plans. Familiarity with behavioral health practice regulations. Awareness of organizational policies and procedures. Skills Required: Expertise in assessing and analyzing patient data related to their physical, social, and emotional well-being. Capable of providing training on emotional wellness, stress management, and life skills. Proficient in evaluating patient needs for appropriate advice and intervention. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Demonstrated initiative, judgment, and ability to foster effective working relationships. Abilities: Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. Proven ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Skills in evaluating and suggesting improvements for quality care. Capacity for handling confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
