This role focuses on designing and implementing educational programs that promote academic achievement, social development, and independence.Job Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student evaluations and goals. Adapt instructional materials and teaching methods to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of students. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to integrate students into inclusive classroom settings when appropriate. Provide behavioral support and implement positive behavior intervention plans. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and communication with parents or guardians. Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Valid state teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students with disabilities in educational settings preferred. Knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assistive technologies. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
