Job ID: 43546BRBusiness Unit: TSUJoin our team as a Construction SpecialistIn this role, you will be a vital part of our construction projects, working with a diverse range of tasks that evolve with each project's lifecycle. You will handle estimating tasks, which include performing quantity take-offs, creating material price lists, and conducting research on labor, materials, and equipment costs. Experience with Timberline is beneficial, as you will assist in preparing Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) and design-build projects.Your responsibilities will involve:Compiling historical data and generating summary reports to inform future estimates.Interacting with subcontractors and suppliers to gather pricing and gauge bidder interest.Attending pre-bid job walks and participating in Bid-Day quote tabulations.Supervising project activities of varying complexity and providing technical support to project and field personnel.Preparing, reviewing, and issuing construction documents to field crews.Maintaining and updating as-built drawings and addressing requests for information (RFI).Coordinating the delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.Assisting in the development of purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and client payment applications.Performing surveying functions to verify project locations and elevations.Preparing key project documentation such as Project Execution Plans, status reports, and Operation and Maintenance manuals.Collaborating with design engineers and subcontractors to address unexpected site conditions.Managing smaller segments of construction projects independently.Developing detailed project schedules and assisting in Time Impact Analysis for change management.Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.Engaging in quality control processes, including field inspections and compliance evaluations.Documenting and reporting any quality or compliance issues.Contributing to the development of Health and Safety plans in collaboration with professionals.Utilizing advanced technologies such as VDC and BIM in project management.Conducting analyses for Estimated Cost At Completion (ECAC) and monitoring project budgets.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.3 years of relevant experience.Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally, depending on project requirements.Equivalent additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Why Join Our Team?We are committed to creating a challenging and progressive work environment where you can thrive.
