As a member of our Laboratory Medicine team, you will get to work with some of the leading experts in a number of specialty fields every day. The department's fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere creates an environment that is progressive, challenging and rewarding—both personally and professionally. Full-time, part-time and per-diem opportunities available: Blood Bank – evening and night shift Microbiology - evening and night shift Core Lab – night shift Virology – night shift Sign on bonus available, additional bonus for evening and nights. EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran Responsibilities Job Responsibilities: Understands and adheres to Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Demonstrate knowledge and adhere to laboratory and hospital policies and procedures. Demonstrates technical competency by performing a wide variety of laboratory techniques. These include moderate to highly complex tests. Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and skills to independently operate instrumentation and/or assigned benches. Operates all department equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines. Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots instruments failures. Participates in activities that demonstrate professionalism, a commitment to competency and career growth. Performs other duties as assigned to assure efficient operations of department, including covering other lab sections. QualificationsQualifications: Education: AS degree in Medical Laboratory Science, BS Degree Medical Laboratory Science or BS Degree in a Biological Science with 1-year clinical lab experience. ASCP certified, eligible or equivalent. Experience: Minimum experience 0-1 year in a Clinical Laboratory, new graduates welcome to apply. Position Overview
