Now Hiring: Construction Superintendent️ Construction Superintendent | Commercial ConstructionMiami, FLOrtega Construction is a multifamily general contractor with a growing pipeline of work across the Tri-County area and is seeking a Superintendent who can lead projects comprehensively in the field.Role Description: This is a full-time on-site Superintendent role located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area. The Superintendent will oversee and manage the day-to-day construction operations, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors and site operations and logistics, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations, and communicating progress with ownership and trade partners.Project Focus:Multifamily, Mixed-Use, and HospitalityGround-up construction and renovationsFull project lifecycle responsibilitySoutheast regional portfolioQualifications:Knowledge of Safety Standards, Compliance RequirementsExtensive experience in commercial construction, preferably multifamilyProven ability to lead projects from startup through:Building envelopeInterior buildoutCore systems (MEP, life safety)Final inspections, turnover, and closeoutStrong understanding of scheduling, trade coordination, safety, and quality controlExperience leading field teams and subcontractorsAbility to work collaboratively with project management teamsLong-term mindset and commitment to project excellenceProficiency in construction-related softwareAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering plansFluent in English requiredFluent in Spanish preferred but not requiredFeatured Benefits:Medical InsuranceVehicle ReimbursementPhone and Wellness Reimbursement401(k)Voluntary Vision and Dental InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid Company Holidays
