Locum Tenens Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Near Deerfield, VA We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity near Deerfield, VA. Position Overview: Profession : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Specialty : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Unit : GI CRNA Rate Type : Hourly Emergency/Temp Privileges : No Shift Type : Day Shift Details: Shift Schedule : Day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Shift Length : 10 hours Number of Shifts : 3 or 4 shifts per week Block Schedules : No block scheduling Job Responsibilities: Patient Age Group : Adults and Geriatrics Procedures : EGD and Colonoscopies ERCPs EUS PEG Variceal banding Higher acuity cases Practice Environment: Facility Type : GI-specific units, including a standalone GI center for healthy patients and an in-hospital unit for more complex cases. Average Daily Census : Varies depending on patient load Certification and Licensing Requirements: Board Certification : NBCRNA required State Licenses : Active Virginia license required, but willing to consider candidates who need to obtain a Virginia license Certifications : Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required Basic Life Support (BLS) required Years of Experience Required : Minimum of 2 years of CRNA experience Charting Experience : Proficiency with Epic EMR required Vaccine Requirements: COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required Flu Vaccine : Required, with no exemptions Additional Details: Coverage Area : GI is a growing specialty in the area, and the facility is looking for a provider committed to exclusively covering GI cases.
