Lino Lakes, MNOrder: 121666Order Type : Direct HireNow Hiring: CNC Mill-Turn Setup/OperatorLocation: Lino Lakes, MNPay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour, depending on experience levelShift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pmEmployment Type: direct hireAbout this Opportunity:The Mill-Turn Setup/Operator will saw-cut stock material, maintain quality and safety standards, checking product and recording measurement characteristics, maintain traceability and complete required documentation, perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment as required. Regulate machining factors like speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut. Command, retrieve, input, and edit CNC programs, detect errors, and make adjustments as necessary. Perform measurements, visual checks and examine results on all product for visual and dimensional defects to ensure conformance using precision instruments like microscopes, micrometers, calipers, Micro-Vu, etc.What You'll Be Doing:Set up, adjust, and operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations as assigned.Strive for continuous improvement and work with high product integrity and be dedicated to act in accordance with the company's safety and quality policies.Confer with Level 1 Machinists concerning new/challenging product design and tooling needs to ensure efficient production methods.Confirm preparations are made prior to starting set-up operations on the "next job" in cue.Assist in the design of fixtures and tooling needs.Manufacture product to customer and industry standards and specifications per job travelers and work instructions.Inspect parts for accuracy as required per quality training process.Adhere to traceability and documentation procedures and utilize prevention/detection methods for everymanufacturing task.Effectively communicate with Level 1 Machinists and Operations Manager providing updates on run times,scheduling, and machine related activities.Perform root-cause evaluations on equipment, tooling, fixtures, processes, and material to determine the cause of non-conformances and defects.
