The mission of Allendale Public Schools is to educate, inspire, and support all students. Description: Organize and work with the Athletic Director and High School Head Track Coach to lead, engage, and direct the High School Track season. ?Distance coaching. Qualifications: Possess a great love of the sport and a high interest in helping individuals reach their highest potential Good role model for student-athletes Current knowledge of rules, fundamentals, teamwork and the ability to relate to and teach teenage students Strong commitment to building a successful program for student-athletes Evidence of successful coaching experience at the High school level preferred Evidence of expertise in teaching the fundamentals of individual skills and team play Evidence of the ability to develop a successful program Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Job Requirements: Select, instruct, and coach the team through the season at practices and contests Oversee the development of players at the varsity level Create a positive learning experience for all members of the team Maintain all records, statistics, and awards information Maintain ongoing communication with players, parents, and media Language Skills: Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from the community, regulatory agencies or staff members. Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
