Air Quality PrincipalJob LocationsUS-TX-Corpus ChristiCategoryAir QualityTypeFull-TimeOverviewAs an Air Quality Senior Project Manager/Principal for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Corpus Christi, Texas office you will lead air permitting and regulatory compliance programs for private-sector clients with complex technical/regulatory issues in the manufacturing, oil & gas, power, and mining industry consulting groups. You will also work to support public sector clients in reviewing permit applications and compiling greenhouse gas inventories. You'll develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their processes and develop permitting and compliance strategies to help their facilities maintain operating flexibility. You will identify and develop new air quality business with new and existing clients that generate repeat business. You will also represent the company at conferences and in meetings to resolve project issues, plan and coordinate work, and negotiate contracts. You will work closely with other CEC air quality practice members across the country to develop opportunities, build business relationships, and apply best practices to address client needs, and mentor junior and mid-level staff in the proper planning and execution of air quality projects, and in directing or conducting technical reviews of client deliverables. Qualifications BS or MS in engineering (chemical or environmental), environmental science, or related degree, 15+ years of relevant experience in air quality/compliance, Consulting or industry experience working with NSR Construction Permitting, Title V, Federally Enforceable State-Only Operating Permits, Federal and State air regulations and air regulatory compliance assistance. Established relationships with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and other regional air pollution control agencies Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills Effective management of complex air quality projects Proven experience in mentoring and leading staff About UsWe have experts CEC is consistently ranked as a Top 500 Design Firm and Top 200 Environmental Firm by Engineering News-Record.
