Your Role:As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance operations to ensure optimal functionality at our site. You'll set up and maintain precise measurement tools like micrometers and height gauges, while adhering to strict tolerances to prevent quality issues. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain equipment essential for our wood production facility. Diagnose and effectively resolve mechanical issues. Perform routine administrative tasks, including accurate inventory management. Ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment. Monitor stock levels of essential tools, heaters, and equipment. Collaborate with suppliers to address any quality concerns. Conduct inspections of equipment, documenting any damages or mechanical issues. Collect and report operational data from meters, instruments, and gauges. Who You Are: High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience. A team player capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Experienced in adjusting equipment to optimize production and minimize downtime. Professional and collaborative demeanor. Dedicated to maintaining high safety standards and practices. Reliable in performing and coordinating good housekeeping routines. Able to utilize checklists, preventive maintenance schedules, and work orders for optimal performance. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Skilled in mechanical tasks such as bearing replacements, motor alignments, basic rigging, and welding; electrical knowledge is a plus. Able to work at heights or on elevated surfaces as needed.
