Position Overview: Job Title: General Gastroenterologist Employment Type: Full Time Practice Details: This is a new, hospital-owned position, emphasizing the facility's commitment to meeting the increasing demand for Gastroenterology services in the region. The practice will be based in a large, multi-specialty clinic, providing a collaborative and supportive environment for healthcare professionals. General Gastroenterology procedures will be conducted at Turkey Creek Medical Center surgery department, with dedicated Anesthesia support. The position requires the candidate to be EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) and EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound) trained, reflecting the facility's focus on advanced techniques and comprehensive patient care.
Call coverage is anticipated to be 1:3, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. The practice boasts state-of-the-art technology, including the da Vinci robotic surgical system, enhancing the capabilities and precision of procedures.
Qualifications
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology is required. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in Gastroenterology. Candidates with EUS and EBUS training are preferred, showcasing proficiency in advanced endoscopic techniques.
