INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - $2,000 sign-on bonus Location: Mount Victory, OHPay Range: $26-$35/hr Job Summary We are looking for a reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team In this crucial role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial machinery and automation systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our production efficiency and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues through techniques such as welding, fabricating, plumbing, and part replacement. Conduct scheduled maintenance on conveyor systems and actively participate in Preventive Maintenance Programs. Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic components and fixtures. Connect components to circuit breakers, transformers, and relevant systems. Repair or replace motors, gearboxes, belts, pulleys, rollers, shafts, and chains as needed. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and tool inventory. Identify and rectify unsafe conditions while adhering to strict food safety and biosecurity protocols. Promote a strong safety culture while working effectively both independently and collaboratively with the team. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance. High School Diploma or GED required. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing devices, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Ability to interpret and follow SOPs and technical manuals. Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling 75+ lbs and performing physically demanding tasks. Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Preferred Skills Trade school or technical training in mechanical, welding, HVAC, or electrical maintenance. Experience in food processing, poultry, or agricultural settings is a plus. Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE). Work Environment This position is set in a fast-paced industrial environment, exposed to noise, moving machinery, confined spaces, temperature variations, and wet/slippery surfaces. Safety gear such as steel-toed boots, hearing protection, and safety glasses are mandatory. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and outdoors, with a commitment to strict safety standards.
