Position Overview The Meat Cutter plays a pivotal role in enhancing customer confidence and loyalty by delivering exceptional service in a friendly environment. You will cut meat to specific requirements while under supervision, ensuring high standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Consistently attend to customer needs; greet, assist, and thank customers in a friendly manner. Prepare and package a variety of food products, processing customer orders according to their specifications. Receive and breakdown meat deliveries effectively. Utilize performance cutting lists to achieve optimal product presentation as per company standards. Accurately wrap, weigh, and price products. Prepare meat by cubing, slicing, and grinding as necessary. Ensure compliance with local and state regulations regarding weights, measures, and sanitation. Work safely and efficiently with all departmental equipment. Proactively suggest products based on customer needs. Stock and rotate products, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste. Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting any hazards or faulty equipment to management. Communicate any issues related to theft or violations of company policies to management immediately. Carry out additional job-related tasks as directed. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: 18 years of age or older. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Ability to follow instructions in English accurately. Authorization to work in the U.S. or ability to obtain it. Completion of pre-employment drug testing and background screening.
