Description:Berger Financial Group is seeking a Seasonal Tax Advisor to join our team from the months of January to April of 2026. The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax planning, & compliance. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, staying updated on tax laws, and ensuring clients meet their tax obligations. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality are essential for this role.Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, flexible schedule Responsibilities: Preparation of individual, trust, and small business income tax returns (partnerships and S corporations), including necessary accounting, preparing and processing estimates and extensions Data entry of client information into tax software, UltraTax (NetClient CS) Track flow of work using internal systems (SalesForce) Manage client documentation and bookmarking via Adobe PDF Requirements: CPA or EA Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Have one (2) or more years of experience in tax or accounting Experience with tax software (2 years' experience) Self-starting person who can work well independently, but still be a team player Ability to meet deadlines and effectively handle stressful situations; and to juggle multiple projects Exceptional client service, professionalism, and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships Have the ability to manage confidential financial data in a professional manner Headquartered in Plymouth, MN, BFG has expanded to 8 other locations throughout the U.S. including, 3 more in Minnesota, 2 in Arizona, 1 in Vermont, 1 in Maine and 1 in Illinois.
