Statement of Purpose:The General Manager is responsible for implementing the store strategy to meet sales objectives, execute local marketing initiatives, and drive profitability. This role focuses on effective staffing, personnel training, and maintaining store operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Profits:Achieve budgeted sales targets and set controllable cost goals; develop and execute local marketing plans to promote the brand in the community. Operating Budget:Establish monthly budget goals, communicate variances, and create action plans to rectify unfavorable trends. Staffing:Oversee hiring, training, and management of staff, ensuring a strong leadership team and effective shift coverage. Quality Assurance:Train staff in product preparation and service standards; promptly address customer complaints to maintain product quality. Service Excellence:Enhance service efficiency and cultivate a culture of customer courtesy and satisfaction. Cleanliness Standards:Implement and monitor store cleanliness protocols to achieve higher quality standards. Training and Development:Facilitate staff training programs, develop team members, and prepare them for advancement opportunities. Operational Controls:Ensure inventory management, analyze financial reports, and hold regular management meetings to drive performance. Policies and Procedures:Follow company standards for safety, cash control, and operational efficiency while maintaining proper employee management practices. Administration:Handle necessary paperwork promptly and maintain an organized and compliant work environment. Maintenance:Ensure proper equipment maintenance and cleanliness through staff training and adherence to maintenance schedules. Employee Relations:Manage performance issues persistently while fostering a positive work environment to reduce turnover. Performance Management:Conduct regular performance reviews and take appropriate action to address any issues effectively. EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Knowledgeable in restaurant operations and financial analysis. Possess a college degree or equivalent experience in operations. 1-2 years of management experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Ability to perform all restaurant operations roles. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to multiple locations as needed. Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and conduct physical inspections across restaurant facilities. This position requires standing for extended periods and working in varying temperatures typical of a restaurant environment.
