Traveling Service Technician

A client in South Bend, Indiana, is looking to add a Service Technician to its team. This is for a machine-building company, and this person will provide on-site support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the company's machinery at customer locations. This role will require extensive travel at times. The role will be a direct hire which includes benefits, paid vacation, bonuses, and 401k. Some core responsibilities include,Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Work closely with customers to diagnose and repair machines. Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as wiring and electrical/electronic components of machines. Layout, assemble, install, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair/replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related components.
