2nd Pressman (Training Opportunity)Shift: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am) on a rotating schedulePay: $16-$17/hrOverview:We're seeking a dedicated 2nd Pressman to train directly on 7PM or 3rd shift in the printing press department. This role assists the Lead Press Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of a sheet-fed offset press to produce high-quality printed envelopes that meet company standards for quality and efficiency.Responsibilities: Assist Press Operator with make-ready, setup, and production runs Prepare press cylinders, packing sheets, plates, and blankets Adjust press components including feeders, guides, and suction grippers Clean and maintain ink fountains, rollers, and blankets Make color or register corrections and minor mechanical adjustments Ensure consistent product quality with minimal downtime Requirements: General knowledge of offset printing press procedures and materials Ability to read and follow detailed job specifications Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to safely operate and maintain press equipment Willingness to train on 7PM or 3rd shift Training:This position begins with hands-on training directly on the 7PM/3rd shift schedule, working alongside experienced press operators.
