We add value to our client's uniform program experience by emphasizing a customer centric approach to our service achieved by actively listening to our clients, assuming accountability for uniform programs implemented and conducting ourselves with transparency and integrity.SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Technical Designer & Production Patternmaker with strong CAD experience to support our growth, internal pattern library, and Miami based factory operations.Work Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30amRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience in technical apparel design and product development Proficiency in CAD software (Lectra preferred), such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, TukaTech, etc., and willingness to learn LectraDevelop markers for optimal fabric yield and cutting accuracyTroubleshoot digital pattern issues and maintain clean, organized file structuresManage and update pattern libraries and variant databases across multiple product categoriesUnderstanding and mastery of fit, patternmaking, grading, fabric performance, garment construction, and manufacturing processesStrong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a plusAbility to translate design sketches and concepts into accurate patterns, tech packs, and measurement specs (in collaboration with the design department)Manage and maintain the Style Library, ensuring all grading rules align with company standardsCollaborate with the design team to approve fabrics, trims, and construction detailsSupport the development of new silhouettesPassion for precision, problem-solving, and contributing to a high-performance environmentPreferred Skills:Proficiency in Adobe IllustratorProficiency in ExcelEducation:Bachelor's degree in fine arts required – preferably in the field of Fashion DesignIf you are passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise to a dynamic team dedicated to excellence, we invite you to bring your talents to J.A.
