Trident Consulting is seeking a " Quality Control Chemist" for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services.Role- Quality Control ChemistLocation: Bellefonte, PA (Onsite)Contract W2Business Unit: Quality Control - Chromatography ProductsType: Contingent / Business ProfessionalExperience Level: Entry to early-career (1-2 years preferred)Core Responsibilities Perform advanced GC and/or LC testing per documented methods Review and evaluate test results for specification compliance Prepare standards, reagents, and solutions Test multiple chromatography product groups (stock & custom) Investigate and resolve nonconformances with Manufacturing/R&D Execute experiments, analyze data, and report results Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and QC records Enter and evaluate data using PC-based and lab automation systems Perform instrument maintenance & troubleshooting Support SOP writing/modification Assist with training junior QC chemists Recommend and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Must-Have Skills & Experience Quality Control (QC) laboratory experience Hands-on GC and/or HPLC experience Analytical chemistry principlesStrong understanding of Experience with documentation, data integrity, and SOPs Comfortable working in regulated environments Ability to work independently within established procedures Education & Experience Requirements BS or AS degree (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related) with 1-2 years QC experienceOR High School Diploma with 5+ years relevant QC/analytical lab experience Ideal Candidate Indicators (Strong Fit) Experience in chromatography product testing Background in pharma, life sciences, or chemical manufacturing Familiarity with GMP / quality systems Experience supporting method execution and validation-style testing Proactive mindset toward process and system improvements Compliance & Safety Notes PPE required (chemical exposure) Standard physical exam required No exposure to blood, biological agents, animals, or heavy lifting About Trident:Trident Consulting is a premier IT staffing firm providing high-impact workforce solutions to Fortune 500 and mid-market clients.
