This is a Full Time position. Must be open to working some days and some evenings plus every other weekend. We are giving preference to candidates who have experience working in food service in a healthcare setting NOT a restaurants.Responsibilities of the Assistant to the Food Services Supervisor: Assist with daily dietary tasks as needed Assist with Dietary Department Employee Scheduling Aide with Prepping and Cooking as needed Taking and Recording monthly weights of residents Qualifications for this position: Experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting Serve Safe Certification and Food Sanitation License required Organizational, interpersonal and planning skills Strong administrative, managerial and interpersonal skills Leadership qualities in Motivating/Directing staff as needed Deemed eligible to work in healthcare by the IL Department of Public Health; willing to have a complete background check and fingerprinting if necessary for eligibility Hourly rate is $16.50 per hour plus: Opportunity for Advancement Choice of several health insurance plans 401(k) with company match Voluntary Dental, Vision, Disability and Life Insurance Paid time off Teladoc for Immediate Care (when enrolled in a health plan) Health Savings Account (HSA) Are you looking for an organization with stability, longevity, the opportunity for internal professional growth, and a collaborative work culture?
