Pulmonology Physician

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a full-time, mission-minded, board certified or eligible pulmonologist with the option of covering the intensive care unit as a critical care attending physician. The incumbent will join a high-quality, collegial, multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to whole-person, patient-centered care, in a welcoming environment for families. Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to:Provide inpatient consults and follow-upsConduct comprehensive pulmonary evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansDiagnose and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disordersOrder and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and pulmonary function testsPerform bronchoscopies and manage other pulmonary procedures (as credentialed)Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and emergency department teams for coordinated careDiagnose and manage chronic respiratory conditions, promote preventive care and patient education for long-term disease management in clinicOpportunity to cover the intensive care unitNo emergency department call requiredIf you seek a vibrant and dedicated healthcare team in one of the most sought-after beautiful and culturally rich locations, this is a rare opportunity to work in a community-based environment where your expertise can truly make a difference in the lives of patient.
