This position requires solid experience conducting intelligence analysis on strategic deterrence, Nuclear Command and Control Communications (NC3), and peer/near-peer adversaries (Russia, China, North Korea, Iran). The Journeyman Level Intelligence Analyst will conduct near-term, mid-term, and long-term intelligence analysis, author intelligence products for senior leadership, support Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE), and provide analytical support for Command planning and operational requirements.This position is contingent upon contract award.Domestic temporary duty (TDY) travel required for conferences, training, coordination meetings, and IC collaboration. Travel estimated at 4 trips per calendar year.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEThe ideal candidate will meet one or more of the following experience requirements (candidates satisfying multiple/all requirements are strongly preferred): Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting plans and JIPOE analysis. Critical duties include providing situational awareness of adversary threat capabilities to support I&W, authoring strategic regional and global JIPOE products to enable planning, and authoring intelligence products for the USSTRATCOM Headquarters staff, assigned Component Commands/and Task Forces, and the IC. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting the development of intelligence collections requirements and providing feedback and evaluations to IC reporting. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience providing analysis supporting Target Systems Analysis and target folder development for nuclear, kinetic, and non-kinetic targeting efforts.
