About the roleSeeking a junior Electronics Technician to join our high-demand repair and service center in Ashland, VA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial welding and plasma equipment. This role offers a stable work environment with competitive pay and opportunities to grow technical skills in industrial electronics and welding systems.Job ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair welding and plasma machines including MIG, TIG, Stick, and multiprocess units. Troubleshoot electronic components, PCBs, wiring, relays, transformers, and power supplies. Perform calibration, load-bank testing, weld-simulation, and quality checks before returning equipment to service. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and OSHA-compliant safety checks. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals to guide repairs. Deliver high-quality, safety-focused repair work with consistent turnaround times. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities. Proven experience with industrial welding equipment such as Lincoln, Miller, ESAB, or Fronius. Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, load banks, and soldering tools. Ability to perform component-level troubleshooting and board-level repairs. Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic. Safety-first mindset with knowledge of OSHA-compliant safety checks. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. Effective communication skills to report repair status and issues. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment. Willingness to learn and grow technical skills in industrial electronics.
