Orthopedic Surgeon Job in Alabama New grads are encouraged to apply for this orthopedic surgeon job in Alabama. This is a perfect opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a well known & established 7 physician private orthopedic practice.POSITION REQUIREMENTS & COMPENSATION The practice would strongly consider an orthopedic surgeon fellowship-trained in Total Joint, but would entertain orthopedic surgeons representing other orthopedic specialties. The opportunity consists of a two -year employment agreement leading to an opportunity for partnership at the beginning of the third year. This practice opportunity will be supported by a hospital income guarantee agreement ensuring the physician obtains fair market value compensation during the first two years. The physician will be offered a competitive base salary, plus a sign-on bonus, incentives, benefits, and malpractice. THE PRACTICE The hospital is a 344-bed community not-for-profit hospital serving the Central Alabama Region. The practice is located in a city that is home to 210,000 residents. LOCATION & COMMUNITY The metropolitan area, known as the River Region, includes Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery counties with a population of 350,000. This city s magnet public schools consistently rate among the best in the nation. The city is a cultural haven with two professional dance companies, a symphony orchestra, the world s sixth-largest Shakespearean theater, and the city s museum of fine arts.
