We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Trauma Surgery in Ohio.Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Trauma SurgeryPosition Type:Specialty: Physician - Surgery TraumaLocation: OhioRate: Open & NegotiableShift: 12-hour (7p 7a) and 24-hour (7a 7a) shiftsStart Date: July 2, 2025End Date: August 29, 2025Position Details:Patient Population: Approx. 5% pediatric, 35% adult, 60% geriatricSetting: Inpatient hospital Trauma SurgeryResponsibilities: Daily rounding, consults, admits, trauma alerts, ER admissions, discharges, and house codesRequired Procedures:Suturing minor lacerationsFAST examsTrauma alert responseSurgical consultsER admissionsRapid response participationEMR System: EpicSupport Staff: Trauma attending on-call and reachable within 15 minutesDays Per Month: Based on availability must list specific datesOn-Call/Weekends: Yes includes weekend 24-hour coverageSubmission Requirements:Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) RequiredActive OH license and DEA Required (no exceptions)BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications RequiredPrior trauma experience Required (no new grads)Must list availability for each date at submission RequiredJoin us today
