Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity Near Branchville, VA We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locum tenens position near Branchville, VA. Position Overview Location: Near Branchville, VA Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Shift Type: 24-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM plus on-call coverage Weekend Requirements: Yes On-Call Requirements: Yes, including after office hours and weekends Assignment Details Coverage Reason: Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage Practice Settings: Office, hospital, operating room, and rounding Call Schedule: After office hours and on weekends Trauma Level/Designation: Not applicable Number of Operating Rooms: 1 Documentation System/EMR: Epic Patient Age Demographic: Adult (18+) Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery General Thoracic Surgery Required Duties and Procedures Aortic Surgery: Descending Aortic Aneurysms Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery: CABG Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without heart valve surgery) Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery) Pericardial Window Tube Thoracostomy Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms Thoracic Endoscopy: Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy Chest Wall Resection and Reconstruction Mediastinal Surgery Vascular Surgery: Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery Heart Valve Replacement Without Surgery (CoreValve System) Mitral Valve Repair Certification and Licensing Requirements Board Certification: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS State License: Virginia Why This Opportunity?
