This 1st shift position is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting.Responsibilities Operate spot welding equipment to join metal components used in shelving and fixture production. Follow blueprints, work orders, and safety guidelines to complete welds to specification. Prepare materials by cleaning, aligning, and securing parts prior to welding. Inspect completed welds for strength and quality; make adjustments as necessary. Perform basic maintenance on spot welding equipment and maintain a clean work area. Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures throughout the shift. Qualifications Previous spot welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols. Understanding of metal properties and safe welding practices. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting. High school diploma or GED preferred; welding training or certification is a plus.
