RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a CAD Tech I in Mansfield, MA 02048. This is a full time, contract to hire, onsite assignment with our client.Overview of YOUR role as a CAD Tech IRCS is seeking an entry-level CAD Tech I to join our client's team in Mansfield, MA. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to launch their CAD Drafter career in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.As a CAD Tech I YOU will:• Receive and complete support assignments under the supervision of a QC Specialist• Participate in on-the-job training during the first 1–2 weeks to learn necessary tools and systems• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and consistency in support services• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet service deadlines• Work on-site from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PMYou are the ideal CAD Tech I candidate if you have:• High School diploma or completed GED• Experience with or strong interest in learning design systems and support tools• A desire to work in a support-focused design or engineering role long-term• A willingness to learn new technologies and processes• The ability to work in a fast-paced environmentIt's a BONUS if you have:• An Associate's Degree or certificate in Information Technology or a related field• Experience with CAD software or ESRI ArcGIS (if support includes these platforms)About Our CLIENTOur Client performs distribution, transmission and substation construction services and conducts turnkey engineering-construction projects for utilities, electric cooperatives and municipalities of all sizes across the country.
