Farm Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for professionals committed to their growth and interested in long-term work in the industry as Farm Maintenance Technicians in highly modernized facilities.Note: This position is as an OPERATOR, not a supervisory role.Main Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment such as tractors, feed systems, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, water lines and pressure washers Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Maintain climate control systems such as fans, heaters, curtain motors, and thermostats Perform arc, MIG, or TIG welding to repair or fabricate metal parts, gates, fences, and equipment Assist in cleaning and disinfecting barns and farm equipment to meet animal health and biosecurity standard Support the maintenance of biosecurity infrastructure, such as showers, entry rooms, and barriers Maintain detailed logs of maintenance tasks, service intervals, parts used, and repair dates Respond to emergency repair needs promptly to reduce downtime and protect livestock health Working Conditions: Usual work hours: 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period One day off per week Work locations: various farms in states such as North Carolina, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, among others Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer) This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to start a career in the U.S. job market.
