Retail Driver

Join Clean Harbors as a Class B CDL Driver (Retail Technician) and play a vital role in providing essential environmental services. Your responsibilities will include the collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products; recycling efforts for light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids, and more; along with executing on-site cleanup activities. Health and Safety is our #1 priority; we embody it every day Commitment to sustainability and environmental cleanliness Competitive pay ranging from $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience Comprehensive health benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, including 401K with Company match Opportunities to own part of the company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan Career growth and development at every stage of your career Company-paid training and tuition reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to safe work practices, policies, and processes Pickup, pack, and transport damaged, discarded goods, and recalled products Load, pack, and segregate materials and waste products Drive a Box Truck to visit retail customer sites Segregate, pack, and load materials and waste products for safe transportation Interact positively with customers at each stop Prepare DOT shipping documents Utilize a laptop, printer, handheld devices, and iPhone to complete tasks Conduct projects/jobs according to regulations and health and safety plans Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company policies Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Class B CDL required Strong customer service skills Proficiency in using a laptop, handheld, printer, and iPhone Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire Ability to perform physical tasks as required Successful completion of a background check, drug test, and physical examination, as needed Comply with OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard regarding facial hair Preferred Qualifications: Previous commercial driving experience Experience with route driving Experience with manual labor tasks Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
