MEP Technician

Freeman Boatworks builds some of the most respected offshore fishing boats in the world, and we're looking for an experienced MEP Technician to help keep our production equipment running at peak efficiency. This role focuses heavily on industrial troubleshooting, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance across our production areas.If you're hands-on, mechanically minded, and enjoy keeping a busy manufacturing floor moving, this is a great fit.What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain production equipment, including: MVP infusion guns (calibration, repairs, maintenance) Eastman CNC cutting machines (mechanical, electrical, and software-related troubleshooting) Pumps, compressors, power tools, and shop equipment Install, assemble, and test mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components. Troubleshoot issues with wiring, motors, valves, plumbing lines, and control systems. Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Work closely with production leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize disruptions. Maintain documentation for repairs, parts used, and service recommendations. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and reliability standards. What You Bring Hands-on experience repairing production equipment in a manufacturing, marine, automotive, aviation, or similar environment. Specific experience with MVP infusion gun repairs and/or Eastman CNC machines strongly preferred. Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Comfort working in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled production environment. A detail-oriented, reliable, team-focused mindset.
