If you take pride in your craft, want access to multi-line certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda), and are ready to build something bigger-this is the right shop for you.What You'll Be DoingDiagnose. Repair. Rig. Deliver. Repeat.Your work keeps our customers on the water and our shop running at a high level. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on marine outboards and inboards Rig new and pre-owned units for customer delivery Install OEM and aftermarket parts and accessories Perform safety inspections and recommend services Conduct water/lake testing when necessary Minimize comebacks by delivering clean, accurate work the first time Identify upsell opportunities and generate additional revenue through quality service RequirementsAt least 3 years of marine tech experience (dealership preferred) Manufacturer certifications preferred (Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser) MMI graduate a plus Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Confident working with mechanical, electrical, and rigging systems Detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to hustle Must be able to work Saturdays (closed Sunday, 1 weekday off) Team player with a positive attitude-we care about culture What You'll Get Competitive base pay with $100K+ potential for A-Techs Signing bonus and relocation assistance may be available Auto allowance available (case-by-case) Factory training and certification across multiple brands 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and holidays Career growth opportunities across the Outdoor Network family Additional Details Full-time role based in Lake Placid, FL Monday-Saturday schedule (one weekday off + Sunday) Must be able to kneel, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in shop conditions May require occasional overtime during peak seasons We value hard work and a great attitude more than a perfect resume If you're looking to grow, get certified, earn big, and enjoy the Florida lifestyle without the chaos of the big cities-this is your shot.
