We are seeking a self starter who is motivated to grow and succeedVery competitive compensation based on experience.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offBonus opportunitiesHourly Rate: $21 - $22Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeEllis and Associates Lifeugard Instructor Certification1 year experience in Supervising or Management1 year aquatics experience - Lifeguarding, coaching, teaching, and/or supervisingStrong organization, computer, and training skillsThe ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple situations at onceAble to sustain a high level of energy in the most positive manner.Requirements:Certified Ellis Lifeguard InstructorExceptional organization skillsThe ability to communicate and connect with employees to build trust and genuine relationships.Ownership and initiative to solve problems and make recommendationsShows the ability to make sound objective decisions based on facts, logic, and good judgement in a timely manner.Results driven, with an infinite mindsetHas intrinsic motivation to succeed and to lead the team in succeeding.Sharp attention to detail and ability to incoporate multitasking in oversight.Positive, up beat attitude that focuses on producing results through coaching, not driving.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Oversees facility safety and E&A Lifeguards, maintaining "Exceeds Expectations."Directs, trains, maintains and oversees the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan and all safety procedures that pertain to the GSS facility and EAP.Performs routine safety audits and equipment checks.Run monthly E&A Lifeugard Certifications.Prepare monthly scenario rotation & oversee completion per shift.Scenario Form Audit - report scores.Plan meaningful monthly safety in-services.Oversee Deck Supervisor team in upholding safety standards.Oversee Lifeguards in maintaining test-readiness and vigilance.Maintain staff certifications - all staff BLS certified.Maintain Certification Binder for those who are certified outside of Ellis.Remains up to date with all Ellis changes and informs the team.Gains a high level of knowledge and experience in the GSS pool operations necessary to maintain a safe and sanitary swim environment.Participates in all role shifts to remain proficient in GSS aquatics and sales standards.Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics field.If you meet these qualifications love working with children and are looking for a job that is rewarding both professionally and financially please apply Goldfish Swim School teaches children from 4 months to 12 years old how to swim and be safer in and around the water.
