We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist I to work in our General Specialty department. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care in the surgical setting. Location:Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215 Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room by ensuring it is clean, sterile, and safe for optimal patient care. Assist with the setup and maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures. Utilize aseptic techniques during preparations and procedures. Support surgeons during operations by passing instruments and anticipating their needs. Maintain an organized workflow by notifying staff of any equipment or supply issues. Participate in patient transport and positioning, ensuring safety and comfort. Adapt to various surgical procedures and acquire a solid knowledge base of different operations. Contribute to a culture of safety and excellence in the operating room. What We Offer: A competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15, based on qualifications and experience. A generous sign-on bonus of $10,000 and an additional $2,000 for PM shifts. Full-time, evening shifts with opportunities for professional growth. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months of hire. No prior experience necessary. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be comfortable working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Required to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
