Description :Additional Information About the Position for Qualified CandidatesUp to $10,000 Sign-On BonusUp to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time OffUp to $3000 Relocation bonus$1 Certification payCareer Ladder Bonus eligible up to $4000Job SummaryA member of the healthcare team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital/departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.Job RequirementsEducationRequired: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical TechnologistExperiencePreferred: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical TechnologistSkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to work independently and collaboratively in teamsStrong analytical/problem solving skillsFlexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environmentAble to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to maintain personal effectiveness while dealing with various personalities, skill levels, and rapidly changing situationsLicensure/Certification/RegistrationRequired: BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employmentEducation: Required: Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist Experience: Preferred: Previous hospital and/or work experience as a Surgical Technologist Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams Strong analytical/problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Able to work in a fast paced environment Ability to maintain personal effectiveness while dealing with various personalities, skill levels, and rapidly changing situations Licensure/Certification/Registration: N/A
