Environmental Scientist/Project Manager The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. Location: Cincinnati, OH (also openings in Maumee, Cleveland & Columbus) Overview The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. (MSG) is a people?focused, award?winning full?service consulting firm offering services in civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, planning, landscape architecture, agriculture, surveying and construction support. We are expanding and need a full?time Environmental Scientist/Project Manager to lead environmental site assessment, remediation and re?use planning projects. Key Responsibilities Project management on environmental site assessment, remediation and re?use planning projects. Technical task management for due diligence assessments, environmental investigations and remedial feasibility studies. Support design and bid specification development for environmental remediation projects. Data synthesis, evaluation and technical reporting. Support business development and proposal preparation, including detailed scopes of work and cost budgets. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise B.S. or M.S. in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field. At least 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting or regulatory work. Expertise in completing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) per ASTM International Standard Practice E1527?21. Knowledge of Ohios Voluntary Action Program (VAP) and Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) rules, regulations and guidance. Ability to interpret site plans and physical setting maps. Strong communication and technical writing skills.
