Project length: ~3–4 weeks Commitment: ≥ 10 hrs / week Compensation: $44 – $96 per hour Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates About the project Fixpoint is hiring Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Managers for a research project at a leading AI company. You will use your expertise to explain the challenges and skillsets of your job, explain what excellence looks like in your profession, and design questions related to your occupation as a Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Managers. You're a good fit if you have experience with: Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials. Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities. Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements. Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping. or have similar experience. Requirements Must-have qualifications Have 5+ years full-time work experience in Transportation and Warehousing. Native-level English skills U.S. residency Access to a laptop or desktop computer and reliable internet. Availability for at least 10 hours per week during the 3- to 4-week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule). Nice-to-haves N/A Benefits Compensation & logistics Hourly pay: $44 – $96, commensurate with experience and project fit. Hourly rate may be higher for exception candidates Paid weekly via Fixpoint, based on approved hours. You will be classified as 1099 independent-contractor status; engagement is at-will.
