Neonatology in MNHarbor city located at the western tip of beautiful Lake SuperiorInternational Airport in town150 miles to Minneapolis St. Paul160 miles to Canada250 miles to FargoJoin 4 MDs, 4 NNPs, 1 Neonatal PA, 1 Neonatal Hospitalist, and an outstanding nursing staffLevel III NICU and Level II Pediatric Trauma CenterNICU has 20 private rooms all capable of converting to double occupancy to accommodate twinsAverage 330 admissions/year; Average daily census is 12 infants, 1500 births/year at labor and delivery with NICU delivery coverageActive Neonatal Transport Team serving MN, WI and MI. All team members are trained in transports. Typically, our APPs and an RN go on transportNICU Follow-up Clinic for our high-risk patients operates 1 day per week24/7 in house coverage. Physicians currently are in-house during the day and on-call during the night. APPs are in-house 24/7Well established and collaborative relationship with Level IV NICUs in the Twin Cities areStrong OB physician and perinatologist support. 24/7 OB Hospitalist modeBirthplace has 13 beds and 3 additional Midwifery suitesPediatric specialists and sub-specialists on staff ranging from oncology to neurologyActively recruiting for Pediatric SurgerySupporting member of NACHRI, committed to excellence in providing health care to children through clinical care, research, training and advocacyStrong quality programming including participation in the Vermont Oxford Network (VON) database and quality initiativesPatients and families are well-supported in our community with help from several local foundations and Ronald McDonald House Charities, staff and support an on-site 5-bedroom home for families of patients needing ongoing medical careReference: 118682H1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
