We are seeking a committed Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine to provide essential Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across Kentucky. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to Veteran health while working on a flexible, PRN basis, offering competitive pay and professional growth.Required Skills:Medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensureProven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicineStrong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testingAbility to perform non-treatment-based evaluations with accuracy and professionalismExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to follow established protocols and complete documentation promptlyNice to Have Skills:Prior experience with compensation and pension examsFamiliarity with disability assessments or Veteran healthcare programsCertification in relevant specialties or additional medical certificationsExperience working independently in a private practice settingPreferred Education and Experience:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of clinical practice in general or internal medicinePrior experience performing Compensation & Pension exams or military health assessments is advantageousOther Requirements:Own office location in Kentucky within a 50-mile radius of PaducahWillingness to work PRN, with flexible shifts including half-day and full-day optionsAbility to complete quick credentialing and onboarding processValid licensure, certifications, and willingness to travel as neededCommitment to providing high-quality assessments without treatment responsibilitiesThis role offers an hourly pay rate of $624.00, with flat-rate options for 4-hour and 8-hour shifts, as well as a one-time bonus of $650 upon completing required training and first exams.
