Physical Therapy Aide position available in a fun-loving, dynamic, sports medicine and orthopedic clinic. Candidates should possess a strong commitment to personal and professional growth, customer service, and ability to work as a team.Looking for a fun, hard-working individual who enjoys working with patients, and is committed to the continual improvement of personable healthcare and superior customer service in Physical Therapy.Clinic: 360 Physical TherapyPay: $12-14/hr based on experience & skill setSchedule: Part Time (20 hours/week)Location: 5608 S.E. 67th St Ste. 105 Oklahoma City, OK 73175Responsibilities: Observing knowledge covering therapeutic assessments and treatments for a wide-ranging sports/orthopedic pathology. Support physical therapy care delivery by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials, and performs procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant. Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols. Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, providing and/or assisting patients into physical therapy apparel or apertures. Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests and allaying fears. Help treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting patients into the gym, helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion, tracking walking time and distance, measuring mobility, and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques. Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines. Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Provide equipment and supplies by sterilizing and delivering equipment and supplies to treatment area, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patient on equipment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred 6 months+ related experience preferred. CPR Certification preferred Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25-50 pounds regularly/occasionally. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
