Accounting Specialist (NetSuite Experience Required) Location: Remote | Department: Finance | Type: Full-time About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with strong experience in NetSuite to join our Finance team. You'll play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records from managing AR/AP reconciliations to supporting month-end close and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Perform Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and up to date. Maintain accuracy and timeliness in vendor and customer account management. Prepare and reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and sub-ledgers in NetSuite. Generate custom financial reports and analyses in Excel and NetSuite to support management decisions. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines and data integrity are maintained. Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc reporting, variance analysis, and process improvement initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, and Sales teams to resolve accounting discrepancies. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Provide general support to Operations and Sales teams as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an e-commerce or consumer goods company. Proficiency in NetSuite is required. Strong understanding of AR/AP workflows, reconciliations, and journal entries. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and report generation. Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with process automation or financial reporting tools is a plus.
