Job DescriptionADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Clinton Township, Michigan.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Interventional Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 02/02/2026Duration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelOpportunity:/nRadiology Interventional Technologist - Radiology Interventional Technologist/n/nJob Details:/n• Work under the direction of a Radiologist to perform invasive procedures for pathological evaluation/n• 13-week contract length/n• Interview required (will be scheduled through Magnit)/n• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations/n• Obtain additional patient medical history information as necessary/n• Prepare prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for patient administration/n• Review clinical data, analyze patient anatomy, and set up equipment following protocols/n• Assist Radiologist in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures/n• Prepare and set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment/n• Ensure adequate supplies (needles, catheters, etc.) are available and properly stored/n• Actively assess patient condition before, during, and following all procedures/n• Manually control equipment to obtain proper diagnostic information/n• May assist with training new personnel and students assigned to the division/n• Perform imaging procedures using radiation protection principles including patient shielding and ALARA techniques/n• Resolve PACS image exceptions and ensure high quality image delivery/n• Complete all study indexing in RIS including study begin, end, and completion/n• Perform Quality Assurance procedures as appropriate/n• Complete all medical record documentation and radiology information system entries/n• Operate power injectors and work with guidewires/n• Perform stent grafting including emergency procedures/n• Work independently/solo as needed and be a self-starter/n• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT with advanced registry in CI, VI, or CV/n• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required/n• Must maintain required continued medical education hours/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center providing advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology services.
