We are currently seeking experienced Body Shop Mechanics to join our team in Cullman, Alabama. This role is essential in ensuring the structural and cosmetic integrity of vehicles and equipment.**Job Description:**As a Body Shop Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring the bodywork of a variety of vehicles. Your expertise will help maintain appearance and safety.**Responsibilities:**- Assess damage and determine repair work needed on vehicle bodies.- Perform bodywork repairs, including dent removal, welding, and painting.- Replace damaged parts, including panels, fenders, and bumpers.- Sand, buff, and polish vehicles to restore finishes.- Align vehicle frames and unibody structures.- Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.- Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used.**Requirements:**- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in auto body repair preferred.- Proven experience as a body shop mechanic or auto body technician.- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structures and repair techniques.- Proficiency with tools and equipment used in bodywork repairs.- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and work orders.- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.- Valid driver's license.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in auto body repair.- Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models.- Knowledge of modern vehicle safety systems and electronics.**How to Apply:**Please apply on our website for immediate consideration at www.unitedtradesamerica.comMUST be able to pass a background check and drug screening.United Trades of America is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
