Current BLS. Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing. Completes a Monitor course through MDIH or provides another arrhythmia course certificate and competency is validated. Experience Required: Recent training/experience in medical terminology and training/expertise with delivering patient care. Special Requirements: Basic computer skills preferred. Cognitive Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Ability for high performance under stressful situations. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and follow through. Physical Demands: Able to stand/work for most of an 8-12 hour shift. Must be able to bend/lift 25-50 lbs (assisting patients in and out of bed, etc.). Environment: Potential exposure to blood body fluids Potential for exposure to contagious diseases. Potential for periods of high stress.
