Guided by our core values of Passion, Integrity, and Excellence, we are committed to providing outstanding legal representation and client service.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to join our Greenbelt, Maryland office. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can handle a fast-paced workload while providing exceptional administrative support to our workers' compensation attorneys. This is a full-time, in-office position working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time.Resposibilities Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling client meetings, depositions, hearings, and deadlines. Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents for workers' compensation cases. File legal documents with the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission and other relevant agencies. Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court staff. Organize and maintain case files in both physical and electronic formats. Assist with client intake, communication, and status updates. Track important case deadlines and ensure timely task completion. Handle incoming calls, emails, and mail, ensuring prompt follow-up. Provide general administrative support to attorneys and paralegals. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in workers' compensation or personal injury law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
