The firm handles a refined mix of business and real estate litigation, probate and trust litigation, as well as real estate transactions and estate planning, allowing attorneys and paralegals to work across both contentious and advisory matters involving significant assets and exposure.The practice serves companies, real estate investors, fiduciaries, and high-net-worth individuals and is known for its trial strength, collaborative culture, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, results-driven representation.The RoleThe firm is seeking an experienced Senior Trial & Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in its El Segundo office, working on sophisticated civil litigation matters from inception through trial and post-trial proceedings. This position offers meaningful responsibility, close attorney interaction, and consistent involvement in trial preparation and courtroom support across a diverse portfolio of complex cases.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and post-trial mattersPrepare trial materials, exhibits, witness binders, and demonstratives; provide in-court trial support as neededManage discovery processes, including document review, production, and coordination with vendorsAssist with deposition and hearing preparation, including exhibit organization and witness materialsCoordinate filings in California state courts and maintain litigation calendars and deadlinesWork on-site regularly in El Segundo to support trial preparation and active litigation demandsRequirementsParalegal Certificate (ABA-approved) or equivalent attestation, with 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience in a California law firmExperience supporting matters involving business, real estate, or probate litigation is a plusDemonstrated experience preparing for and supporting trialsStrong understanding of discovery workflows and litigation proceduresAbility to manage multiple complex matters with a high level of accuracy and discretionComfortable billing time and meeting an annual 1,600+ billable hour requirementBachelor's degree preferredTo apply:Send your resume directly to McKinley.Horwitz[at]roberthalf[dot]com with "El Segundo Trial Paralegal" as the subject line.
