If you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and enjoy being a key player in successful patient outcomes, we'd love to meet you.What You'll Do:Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and suppliesEnsure the sterile field is maintained and all surgical equipment is properly preparedAnticipate needs of the surgical team to promote efficient and safe operationsSupport room turnover, equipment sterilization, and instrument readinessMaintain accurate count of instruments, sponges, and sharpsAdhere to safety protocols and infection control standardsCollaborate with circulating nurses and anesthesia staff for seamless patient careWho We AreUnited Surgical Partners International (USPI) partners with leading physicians and health systems to deliver high-quality surgical care in outpatient settings across the U.S. We are committed to providing superior healthcare experiences with integrity, innovation, and compassion.Required Skills:Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentationAbility to remain calm, focused, and adaptable in high-pressure situationsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesStrong attention to detail and multitasking skillsDependability and professional integrityRequired Experience:Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology programMust hold a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA, or an equivalent nationally recognized surgical technology credential (e.g., NCCT Tech in Surgery - Certified TS-C ) if accepted by the facility's governing body.BLS certification required1+ years of experience in an operating room setting preferredFamiliarity with a range of specialties such as Orthopedics, ENT, GI, Ophthalmology, and General Surgery is a plusEmployment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant's or employee's race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
