Both job titles are listed below.THE ROLE:As a Front Counter/Drive Thru Cashier your main responsibilitywill be to take care of our guests, greeting them and taking their orders,that's why you are called a Chicken Ordering Officer. Each guest needs to feelas though they are attending a party that we are hosting for them. You willmake sure they get their food in a timely manner, that they have the necessarycondiments, beverages and anything else they need to make their visit toLayne's a special one. You will also be responsible for cleaning and keepingour restaurant immaculate and making sure our guests can relax and eat theirfood in a clean and tidy environment. A huge part of who we are and what we areabout is our fun loving, non-corporate environment, so as a Layne's Cashier youwill be part of our culture which ensures everyone has fun while we serve ourguests our "Soon to be Famous" Chicken Fingers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Be the smiling face of the organization; greeting and kindly helping guests. Clean off tables, so our new guests will have a great experience. Restock condiments station. Assist with prep. Interact with guests and have fun. Have a High School diploma or equivalent required. Have the ability to communicate effectively. Be at least 16 years of age Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 10-55 lbs. Bi-Weekly Pay Role Summary:As a Line Cook, your main responsibilities will be to prepare ourfresh daily hand cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading andfrying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers, manning our griddleplate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheeseand bacon for our famous club sandwiches. This job is so important that we gaveit an Executive Title...CFO, Chicken Frying Officer. Communicate with other cooks on food status and speed. Assist with prep. Ensure the kitchen remains immaculate, cleaning as often as possible Keep up to pace with orders from both the front and drive thru. Required Qualifications Have the ability to communicate effectively. Be at least 16 years of age. Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule. Have the ability to lift and carry 55 lbs. Preferred Qualifications Have experience in a fast-food concept. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work morning/day shift on weekdays.
