Job Title: Dental AssistantLocation: Dynamic Dental Group**Schedule: Mondays from 7:00am to 5:00pm | Tuesdays from 1:00pm to 6:00pm | Fridays from 7:00am to 1:00pm**We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dedicated dental team. As an essential part of our practice, you will play a key role in creating a smooth and comfortable environment for our patients, ensuring high-quality care while supporting the dentist in both clinical and administrative tasks. If you have a passion for patient care, a strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you__Key Responsibilities:Patient Care & Comfort: Welcome and prepare patients for treatments or check-ups, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns they may have.Assist with Procedures : Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for dental procedures. Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry and ensure the dental room is well-prepared for each procedure.Instrument Sterilization & Safety: Follow proper sterilization procedures and ensure that all dental instruments are sanitized in compliance with health regulations.Lab Tasks & Post-Operative Care: Assist with lab tasks as directed and provide patients with post-operative care instructions.Record Maintenance : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, assisting with patient charts, treatment documentation, and payment procedures.Scheduling & Office Support: Assist in scheduling patient appointments and ensuring the office runs smoothly with minimal disruptions. Keep the dental room clean, organized, and well-stocked.Regulated Tasks : Perform non-surgical tasks such as coronal polishing, if certified, and assist with other regulated tasks as allowed by local regulations.Requirements & Qualifications:Experience : A minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience in a clinical setting.Certification : Dental Assistant Certification (CDA or RDA) is required. Additional certifications such as EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) or Radiology Certifications are a plus.Skills & Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization methods, and infection control protocols.Familiarity with dental procedures and treatments.Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dental office.Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is highly preferred.Clinical Competence : Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, such as coronal polishing, and assist with other dental procedures.Communication & Patient Care: Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients, providing clear instructions and ensuring their comfort.Organization & Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Team-Oriented : Ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing high-quality patient care.Preferred Qualifications:Additional Certifications : Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), Radiology Certification, or Dental Hygiene Assistant certification.Language Skills : Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus but not required.Benefits:Competitive Salary401(k) MatchingComprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysEmployee Perks & DiscountsIf you are a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Assistant looking to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment, this is the role for you.
