Job Details:Profession: PhysicianSpecialty: Emergency MedicineRate Type: HourlyEmergency/Temp Privileges: YesShift Type: VariedOn Call Requirements: NoneShift Description:12-hour shifts currentlyTransitioning to 24-hour shifts by mid-July8-10 shifts needed in the second half of July10-12 shifts needed in AugustMust be open to both day and night shiftsFacility Details:Emergency Department: 12 bedsAnnual Patient Visits: Approximately 10,500Telehealth Services: TeleNeuro, TelePsych, TeleICN, and TeleEmergency24/7 Support:In-house respiratory therapistsCT/X-ray available with real-time reads by radiologistsMRI and formal ultrasound available on weekdaysCoverage:Primarily single coverage 12-hour shiftsSecond provider swing shifts on some daysOptional Opportunities: Potential for academic affiliation and/or partial administrative role if interestedOvertime Policy: OT is not approved based on a 40-hour week due to 24-hour schedulingSchedule Transition:Mid-July: 1/3 of shifts will be 24 hours, remaining shifts will be 12 hoursBy September 1st: 50% of shifts will be 24 hoursRequirements:Board Certification: Emergency Medicine residency trained ABEM C/E Emergency Medicine PhysicianCertifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALSLicense: Active New Hampshire licenseJob ID: j-227438This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped emergency department with access to comprehensive telehealth services and 24/7 support from in-house respiratory therapists and radiologists.
